Rail Baltica is a greenfield rail transport infrastructure project with a goal to integrate the Baltic States in the European rail network. The project includes five European Union countries – Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and indirectly also Finland.
During the Rail Baltica Global Forum in Vilnius, the contract to commence the design services for the railway section from Kaunas to Ramygala in Lithuania was signed by the representatives of the Rail Baltica Joint Venture RB Rail AS and the Spanish company IDOM Consulting, Engineering, Architecture.
